The concept behind Daily Seminar was very simple: choose every internet marketing subject we had down-pat and record many 20 minute videos on those subjects.

Out of the gate, I wanted to "build it to sell it" so the membership site itself wouldn't be a chore. (I learned this tactic from one of my mentors, Steve Celeste.)

We could sell it even BEFORE it had reached its peak, get a big payday, and move onto the next project. Hand the membership over to someone who wasn't as good of a content generator as us, but did know how to retain members.

Our plan was to knock out an entire year's worth of content, and schedule it all ahead of time, recording videos only two hours per week, so we could set it and forget it until we found a membership buyer.

We had the last of the videos finished about 30 days after the membership site was launched. Three of our own videos a week, plus an entire product at the end of the week (I personally bought the rights to each of those products).

Around that time we only had 53 members (a passive $2,491 per month).

We hadn't officially listed the site for sale yet, but word got out that we wanted to sell and we had our first offer. It was too low. We turned it down.

But then! Right around the 60 day mark, the phone rang! We had a very interested buyer. Eventually we negotiated to sell the membership for $32,000. The site was completely transferred over and out of our hands by day 90.

Total profit: $8,000 from membership fees, and $32,000 from the sale of the membership site. $40K!

Was it an isolated incident? Think again.

I have a rule that I apply any private label rights product I purchase within 4 hours, or less. This held true even back when I was working a day job.

I only had one short 15 minute break and my lunch break to build my business. Check it out:

• 8:00 AM: (Just before getting to work that day.) Saw and bought a private label rights product.
• 10:00 AM: (Morning break.) I changed the title of the product, but didn't have the proper fonts to edit so I went back to my day job.
• 11:30 AM: Left a meeting a work, came home from my lunch break, found the right font, put it online and mailed to my list.
• 11:54 AM: I made my first sale, while I was eating lunch. No other internet marketing work done the rest of the day.

Resale Rights Launch After the Usual Product Launch

My first product teaching WordPress was a huge hit. Here's how the first few days of the launch performed:

• Day One: Sold 39 copies at 13.33 ($519.87)
• Day Two: Sold 35 copies at $16.66 ($583.10),
• Day Three: Sold 99 copies at $33.33 ($3,266.34)
• Day Four: Sold 89 copies at $44.44 ($3,955.16)

In the final days of the launch, I sold 9 out of 12 copies at $66.66 ($599.94), and five copies at $97 a short time later ($485).

That brings our grand total to: $9,409.41.

That was a great launch, even for so long ago, but then I sold resale rights to that same list and the same forum. I closed 10 sales for resale rights licenses at $297 ($2,970).

And an extra 9 sales at $497 ($4,473) with two follow-up e-mails...

That's $7,443 in sales on top of the original offer!

Huge relevation: When you offer resale rights PROPERLY, it's possible to pull out the same amount of money from the resale rights, as from the launch of the product itself. Basically, doubling the profits with the same amount of work.

We've shown this to be true time and time again. It works with high ticket offers, it works with low ticket offers. HOWEVER! There is a big catch...

The catch is, that most people don't know the proper way to sell resale rights. The majority of people give away their farm, close their eyes and cross their fingers, and just "hope" their offer will make money.

Too Many Case Studies to Mention

I could go on and on about how resale rights and PLR have helped my business but that would take too long.

It would also probably be bragging to tell you that "Membership Sites on Crack" ... a tiny $7 report that took one afternoon to write, not even with video, not even with live training, just a measly e-book, made $2397.68 in sales from two e-mails to my list (345 copies sold at $7 each).

But then I turned around and offered resale rights and sold 23 copies at $97: that's $2099 with no additional effort.

Offering resale rights has also given me a nice boost in income for those months when I wanted to break the $25,000 per month barrier, and the $30,000 per month barrier.

For example, in September 2007 I wanted to break $25,000 per month. All I needed was $833 in sales per day, right? And guess what, I broke that barrier! Check out three typical days out of that 30-day period:
